You can buy legal training courses from us, all accredited for CPD. For a sample of a course, click here. All of our courses are audio recordings, which means that they are extremely convenient. You can choose to receive the recording either as a traditional audio CD, or as an mp3 podcast. As well as receiving the audio recording, the full text of the script, from which the audio recording is read, can be downloaded from our website. This is particularly useful for checking a case reference at a later date. We can supply audio recordings in any format or on any media. Each of our audio recordings is approximately 45 minutes long, and worth 1 CPD point, taking into account the Multiple Choice Test. The audio recordings cover all the latest developments in the law. By listening to our audio recordings, lawyers gain credit for the purposes of Continuing Professional Development. Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake. When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Our products are only intended for lawyers. The recordings are updates ideally suited to barristers, and are highly recommended by previous customers.

Stubb Legal Ltd is accredited by the Bar, and the Council of Licensed Conveyancers. Each audio recording is just less than one hour, and therefore worth 1 CPD point, or 1 hour CPD credit.

Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive, as transposed into domestic law. This basically says that you are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed. Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.

For customers, we normally operate a single user licence. A lawyer who buys any of the audio recordings for the purposes of Continuing Professional Development may not share them with his colleagues. Under the terms of this licence, a second lawyer, who has not purchased from us, may not claim CPD credit by virtue of having listened to a Stubb Legal audio CPD course. This is the normal licence for all CPD courses supplied by us. Customers may purchase a modified licence, whereby recordings are shared. Under the terms of the Chambers Multi-Licence, we permit sharing, provided that the lawyer who borrows the audio recordings pays a sharing fee to Stubb Legal, calculated as a fraction of the normal price. This also allows that lawyer to enjoy the online Multiple Choice Test service of Stubb Legal.

Stubb Legal is an audio updating service for barristers and solicitors. The scripts are drafted on the assumption that the customer is a lawyer practising in that area. Therefore, only new developments in law and practice are included. This means only three types of news are included: first, statutory legislation; second, practice announcements from one of the various authorities; and third, significant caselaw. Practitioners need never worry that they have missed an important change. Selection of legal developments will mirror closely the emphasis in the most popular legal periodicals. The scripts are drafted just prior to recording, so that they contain all the very latest legal developments. In this way, Stubb Legal is one of the most up to date sources of law. The full scripts of all the audio recordings are posted on the website.

Within the UK, we apply automatic handling, packaging and shipping charges. If you require shipping outside the UK, please email us at mail@stubblegal.co.uk to find out how much delivery will cost. Any CDs will be despatched on the same day that they are ordered, and they should arrive within three business days. International orders are generally received in under seven days. If you inform us of any dissatisfaction within 7 days of the date of your order, we guarantee to replace any defective or damaged goods, or, if you prefer, refund your order (you cannot have a refund if you have fully benefited from a course, ie obtained CPD credit). If you do not raise your complaint within 4 weeks of the date of your order, you cannot subsequently raise it as a defence to a claim for payment. Please quote your order number in all correspondence. You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received. If you wish to subscribe to future audio recordings, you will immediately receive delivery of your first instalment, but the remaining instalments will take place in succeeding months. All orders are VAT free. When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

All of our courses come with a no quibble guarantee. We guarantee your satisfaction. Simple as that. Our only proviso is that you must raise your complaint within 7 days of the date of your order. Some of our terms and guarantees go beyond your protection under the existing law. None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.

Stubb Legal do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

The more you buy, the cheaper they get.
